“Realize your potential, and settle for nothing less. It is your road and yours alone. Others can walk it with you, but nobody can walk it for you.”

It is very important to discover your potential. You may never know what you are capable of, unless and until you explore yourself and discover your capabilities.

You should not be afraid to know what may be lying inside you. If you do not discover your potential for yourself, not even your soul’s voice or the nagging voice behind your head can convince you of what you are capable of.

If you think that knowing what you can do is not important for you, and i will not benefit you in any means in your life, then let me tell you, that you are absolutely wrong.

For a real life example, let me give you my example- It was the golden jubilee of my school in 2017. Of course, our school decided to have a grand celebration. We decided to make a world record of a 1000 all-girl choir singing ‘Vande Maatram’ by A.R. Rahman as a tribute towards him for one of our Golden Jubilee celebrations. At first, I decided not to participate because I thought it may waste my time. But, when I heard the other students practicing, and heard that one girl had quit, I requested my teacher to let me in for the choir. And, I got in! I never knew that I could even sing. But, when I sang during the rehearsals for the first time, I discovered that I have a voice capable of singing! This way, I gt to know that I could be a singer… And, after that event, I participated in many singing events, and even won a few of them!

If you see my example, you get to learn that I discovered my potential of singing, which made way for many accolades I got.

Therefore, don’t be afraid to discover your potential, you never know what lies inside you.
