Live Your Dream
“Don’t dream your life, but live your dream.”
I say, Live Your Dream. You say, “What does it mean to live my dream?” Good Question. Living your dream means to fulfill your dream. I am sure all of us have a main dream in our life, which we want to fulfill very badly, as if it is our first priority in our dream list.
When you get the correct opportunity to fulfill the dream you have since your childhood, you must not let go of that opportunity, because you don’t know when you will get another one.
And, when you make use of that opportunity to fulfill your dream, you are living your dream.
For an example let me give you my example- I always love innovating and researching, i.e. taking part in extra curricular activities at my school. When I was in Grade 4, I had taken part in an exhibition called ‘Innovex’. That exhibition did not happen again until last year, when I was in Grade 8. I decided to take part in it again, because I wanted to prove that I will live my dream of participating in Innovex once again, before I depart from this school. I made a real life model of the Hope Probe from the Emirates Mars Mission, going to happen this July, by the UAE. At first, the teachers who were suppose to select the models and projects said that it is not possible for my model to get selected, because it was not a working model. I took this problem to physics teachers of my grade, and got to know that it is practically not possible for a student to make a working model of a satellite. I was sad, but did not give up, and decided to wait for the results of selection. A few days later, my chemistry teacher told me that my model was selected. I was shocked and surprised both at the same time, and asked her, “But ma’am, how is that possible? You had said that it won’t be selected as it is not a working model…” That is when her response made me feel I was on cloud nine. She said that no matter how hard the teachers tried, they could not reject it, though it was a not a working model, because of the neatness and preciseness my model was made with. Then, I told myself, “Wow. Good think I didn’t give up. Now, I am getting to live my dream!”
For a more simpler example, here is one- If you had wanted to become a space scientist when you were little, it was your big dream, and you became one when you grew up, you got to live your dream. You must tell yourself that, “I am getting to live my dream”
Therefore, don’t think that dreaming is just for fun. No, your dream may be the road to your success in the future, who knows?
